foreclosure
babiiprycess asked:

How does one deal with a foreclosure? Is the buyer allowed to look inside the house and should one go to bank if interested in buying a foreclosure home.

I work at a dead end job. I want to quit and get into real estate. I know there is a lot of potential in that field. How does one get started? Is selling houses difficult? What are the requirements? What do real estate firms look for in a potential employee?

I am looking into changing careers and do have an interest in real estate. Does anyone do this for a living or know if real estate agents get paid a salary at all or if everything is solely based on commissions from selling a house.

Thank you!

I keep seeing in the news that foreclosure’s are up XX% in the last year. What they never say is what the foreclosure rate actually is. I mean if it’s up to 4% from 3%, that’s a dramatic 33% increase, but it also means that there are still 96% of people still paying their mortgages.

I just want to know what the real number is.

My husband and I are looking at a possible forclosure. He wants to give the house up. I want to keep it. We have enough money to make payments now, but he wont agree to pay the mortgage company. Our relationship is already on very shakey ground and in danger of collapse. My concern is if we split, how will a foreclosure affect my ability to find a place to live, get a job, buy a car, or just get credit? He is the one with the income, I have been a stay-at-home mom for 22 years.

I qualify as a real estate professional for tax purposes. I own and manage over 25 rental properties. I have not claimed that status in the past. I have recently married and my husband has retirement and investment income in excess of the maximum income amount allowed under the passive activity rules. If I make a profit from my investments, am I subject to FICA taxes on that income? Is there a downside to claiming real estate professional status?

Their home is worth $200.000, they owe the bank about $200,000 . They would lose money on the sale, so they are considering walking away and foreclosure. They are spending almost $2000.00 a month in mortgage paymens, and they could only rent it for $1300 a month. Any ideas on how I could keep the house or help them without foreclosure?

I have a house for sale at an excellent price, no realtors involved, and want real estate investors to take note. How can I persuade the person in charge of our local real estate club to distribute my e-mail regarding my property? They get solicited all the time, I’m sure. I already e-mailed my property offer and photos to the generic property investment club e-mail address, is this enough? Will they distribute it to all of their members?

I was wondering what the difference was between a real estate broker and a real estate agent? How long would you have to go to school to be either one?
I pretty much got my answer to this question. Can a real estate broker act as both a broker as well as the agent? I plan on starting my own realty but want to do both jobs.
