Why would someone choose to start a LLC or corporation over just owning real estate as an individual? More specifically, why does some choose LLC and some corporation (and within this there is the S corp and C corp I believe)? If anyone could thoroughly explain that would be GREAT! Thanks

I currently rent in San Diego, CA and I am thinking about moving. Without just driving all over California, how can I find out about areas, rental prices, housing prices, etc? Especially if I don’t know the names of the areas – Say, I am interested in moving north east of San Diego? Or, do I just have to go and look on a map and do a search for each and every city? Isn’t there a mega real estate web site that lists things for all of CA? Thanks!

Im selling my condo and I have to pay a withdrawal fee fof $995 to my real estate agent if i decide to take my condo off the market within 8 months. He also has a lockbox on my property. I feel that he has control over my property and it makes me nervous. In other words, if i sell condo he gets a 3% commission OR if I take condo off market i owe him $995. However if i dont sell condo WITHIN (8 months)then i owe him nothing. I THIS A STANDARD FEE AMONG REAL ESTATE AGENTS IN FLORIDA?
