Can a corrections officer get fired if he has a foreclosure on his record?

Hypothetically speaking, if someone was just hired by the Department of Corrections and was attending the academy, and this person was to default on their mortgage, could this result in termination? What if it lead to a foreclosure? Would a foreclosure on his/her record lead to termination?
