All of these systems talk about making thousands of dollars a day, blah blah blah. It doesn’t work. I just want to know some real ways, not to get rich, but just to make some extra cash. Thanks.

Hello, I live in Boston, MA and a friend is selling me a real estate property in Honduras.
The seller says that we don’t need to travel to honduras in order to close the deal.
What is the process and what should I know when purchasing real estate over seas, what is the best way to protect my self, do I need a lawyer?

Hi,

I would like to start an ( mostly) online real estate referral business.

Although I know some basics and hold a current CA Real Estate license, I was wondering if anyone could point me towards some books or websites that have correct and useful information on starting such a business.

Thank you

I would like to start doing real estate closings and loan processing for local companies but I don’t know where to start, or to find out if there is anything like that where I live. I live in a rural area, surrounded by very small cities. Where is the best place to find information about where to call or write to get me started. I have over 4 years experince doing both. I would like to work for myself, not for just one certian company.

I am looking to expand real estate investing into a more full time business, so I would like to register a business, but for my personal asset protection only. I will not have office space or employees so I don’t need a fancy business registration; I am only looking for help in setting up an LLC or something similiar to be operated from Canada, with the majority of my real estate deals in the USA.

Based on that- registering a business name basically for liability protection, and to be operated from Canada but with deals found in the USA- can someone give me some advice or point me in the right direction on registering cheaply and with low fees (maybe online?) either an LLC or something similiar in Canada that I can use in the USA and also Canada simply for my personal asset protection from being sued? Alternatively, can I register an LLC in a random state- but use it nationwide and in Canada- and operate it from my home in Vancouver, Canada? Thanks everyone.

All the investing literature I have read say to protect yourself from liability and taxes. I know there are LLC and Corp (S and C) which provide these benefits. The investing literature also says to use the banks money to leverage your investing (OPM). However, my lender will not provide a single or multi family home investment loan for a business (only under my name). So, how do I create a business structure that protects me but still allows me to get home loans.

I have been attending business school for my first year and it’s time to choose whether I should go into accounting, marketing, finance, or management. I was thinking that if I was to invest into property, finance might be the best option for me. Also if I chose not to invest in real estate, but decided to start a franchise or company of my own, would finance be the best option as well? If you could provide any insight regarding the best option for me it would be appreciated. Thanks,

I am a real estate sales agent with a small real estate company in Southern, NJ. I signed up with my company about 3 weeks ago and I just realized that they really don’t train me on anything, like they originally said. I want to get clients on my own because they don’t train me or assist me with anything. THey basically gave me some business cards they printed and sent me on my way.
How can I build my business? What are some creative techniques for getting leads?

Thank you all for responding so promptly to my question on obtaining a real estate license. Now I see and understand that I don’t need one to locate the apartment, but the obtaining the education would be beneficial to me. If I want to enter into a contract with an apartment complex do I need a license for that? I wouldn’t show the apartment to the renter, but I’d let them know where it was and all of the other fun stuff that comes along with the search.

Thank you all!
